SANATORIUM: El último aliento
October 1998. A night call-out, a sanatorium nobody opens and records that claim no one is left inside.

SANATORIUM: El último aliento is a Windows survival horror with fixed cameras and pre-rendered backgrounds, in the spirit of the genre's classics. In October 1998, Inés Navarro and her partner Julián answer a night call-out at the old sanatorium in Sierra Espuña. Nobody greets them, and the building holds more than its records admit.
A work in progress
SANATORIUM is in active development. The current working build (0.65) already has a campaign that can be finished from start to end, but animation, performance, difficulty balance and playtesting with real players are still to come. It has no release date, store page or public demo yet; voices are synthetic at this stage.
The images on this page are backgrounds and art from the game as it currently stands, not a representation of the final look.
Fixed-camera survival
- Explore, observe, manage resources and decide when to face a threat or avoid it.
- Twenty-eight connected interiors plus an exterior arrival: dormitories, consulting rooms, archive, chapel, dispensary, laboratories, switchboard and technical areas.
- Nine puzzles with a physical, material identity: tokens, X-rays, tanks, relays and mechanisms of the sanatorium itself.
- Eight persistent enemies with different senses and rhythms, who can be evaded.
- Archivable documents, Spanish dialogue, full controller support and an inventory with 3D previews.
The horror of care turned into confinement
The fear comes from isolation, repetition, voices with no one speaking and an institution that turned care into confinement. The story is pieced together through documents, spaces, conversations and evidence you can handle.
